  1. Didn't talk to my Dr. about sex but I'm 10 days post op and gave it a whirl. Wasn't to bad just used a lot of pillows and our imagination to keep me comfortable.
  2. Pain pain pain and more pain. Thinking post op infection no temp tho. But my open incision site is so tender and draining the pain is radiating from front left side around to the left side on my back. Going to see surgeon. Worst I have felt since waking up in recovery.
  3. I wouldn't mind doing the facebook page. I think it would make keeping in touch easier as well as sharing photos keep me posted
  4. Today has been rough and it's all my fault. I've had such an easy time that I got carried away and forgot I had just had surgery on Monday. Well boy oh boy am I paying for it today. My pain level has been through the rough. Taken pain medication every 4 hours when I was only having to take it 2 maybe 3 times a day. Lets just say my body let me know I was getting a little to cocky. So spent all of today in bed and will more than likley repeat it tomorrow. :"( Ya live and ya learn.
  5. Happy to say. I'M HOME :-):-):-):-):-). made it up 3 flights of stairs bit of a struggle . Just resting for now. Gonna do some light walking later. Now I have to concentrate on being a patient and not the nurse... So hard to give up that control but i gotta. My boyfriend took 3wks off work to take care of me. Gotta love him for that. Just hope we don't drive one another completely nuts!!!!!!!

  14. Well in less than 24hrs. I will be a loser. Never thought I would be happy to say that. Lol. Glad that this pre-op diet is over today. Yesterday was draining I was soooo hungry. Nervous and excited but I have complete faith in my surgeon. Wishing all post-op's a speedy n complication free recovery. And all pre-op's a speedy pre-op diet.
  15. Helll everyone. New to siite. I actually started my journey back in 2010. I had the sleeve done and lost 70lbs. Then had gallstone attacks and had to have if removed then had a post op infection that put me back in the hospital. After 2 months I healed from that. And began to workout again only to suffer a knee injury. After 4 months of steriod shots and physical therapy i ended up going back under the knife and had to spend 3 months on rehab. All of this slowed down and then stopped my weight loss. After much thought and many tears I have chossen to undergo the full bypass. 9/17/12 is my second chance. Hopefully I will get the outcome I desire. Despite all I have went through. I'm more than postive I would do it all over again. Working my way through this liquid now and It is to say the least a challange. Wishing all of u the best of luck and will con't to keep you all up to date on my progress.
  16. I had the sleeve done in 2010. I had a couple of surgeries soon after the sleeve that slowed down my wt. loss only got down about 70 lbs. I'm going to have the bypass done on 9/17/12. I'm very nervous but at the same time excited. I will try my best to keep u updated to my progress.
