I had to do 6 months also. I started march 22nd and my surgery date is Sept 10th!! Have you picked a bariatric surgeon yet?? If not, go ahead and schedule that. There will be a list of things he will want you to do like nutrition and exercises classes, going to a pycholigist, maybe even a sleep apnea test. It's better to start now to where when u have met tour 6months criteria, you will be ready to schedule!! Good luck!!

My date is Sept 10th!! I wasn't expecting to have it til the middle of October!! Very nervous and excited!! Congrats!!!! We are on the right road to a better life, healthier and happier!!

I just picked my surgery date: Sept 10th! I haven't been approved by insurance yet, but that's the date we are shooting for! I'm marked on the calendar!! I'm so nervous and excited, mixed feelings! Does anyone regret their decision to have the sleeve!? Is this normal to have mixed emotions?? My family isn't supportive, so I thought that getting on this site will encourage me and help me through this!! Thanks!!!
