  1. Hi everyone- I am have been on liquids since Wdnesday morning. And that is clear liquids (not full) so no protein shakes. Water, flavored water, soda, broth, jello and popsiciles. I am having a horrible time and feel tired, weak, shakey, fuzzy, and have headaches. I just brewed a cup of coffee (which we can have, no cream, no sugar). Thank goodness I only have the rest of today and Sunday-Tuesday like this. However, I am EXTEMELY worried about going to work Monday and Tuesday like this. Heck, I am worried about driving in about an hour to go to the chiropractor. Any advice?

  3. I hope it is less than it is now. If not, I feel the restriction aspect of the amount I can eat will also be a great tool. You're right, for some people it does come right back. I remember seeing that from the YouTube videos I have watched of other people's experiences. Thanks for the info!
  4. I agree with Maria. I feel hungry a lot (and not just head hunger) so wanted the benefits of not feeling hungry to help me be more successful. I also did not want malabsorption issues. I went in guns a blazin' though for the band. After talking to my surgeon about my particular struggles with weight loss, he recommended the sleeve. He would have done whatever surgery I wanted, but I knew with the number of surgeries under his belt and his experience, he knew what was better for me than I did. So, I chose the sleeve. Laura
  5. Thanks for creating the book. I downloaded it for my Kindle app on my iPad and have found it very useful! Laura

  7. I started my pre op diet today- which is nothing but clear liquids ...sugar free jello, diet soda, coffee, tea, broth (twice a day max), sugar free popscicles and water of course. Doing a lot of vitamin water. This is until August 14 when I go in for surgery. Hope I lose a little on this.... And am not too mean to my coworkers in the mean time. Thank goodness my husband is going out of town tomorrow morning and back Monday so he can be go e for the worst of the withdrawals....lol. 7 days until surgery!!!! Laura
