i just went to the nutrionist today and i was told that my doctor who will be doing my surgery has changed the post op diet yesterday and the day after i go home i will be on a soft protein diet including tuna, chicken, turkey, ham, eggs, i dont even have to put it into a blender just chew it up very well. i am a little nervous about going on this diet a day after my surgery, she wants us to skip the liquid diet.

what kind of symptoms do you have if the band is to tight? do you get full to quick, do you upchuck food more often, do you have a lot of pain? how long should you wait until you call the doctor?

thanks for the feedback i havent had the surgery but i am in the program right now and im trying to get all of the facts, so far all of the professionals in my program are trying to get me to do the bypass but im not to comfortable with doing it, it sounds to risky

what happens if the food doesnt come back up. how do you know if there is a blockage?
