  1. OK, when I got my tube out a week ago, Doctor was all upbeat and was like "get out and walk"! Walking happens to be my exercise of choice, I love it, but I am having trouble getting started since surgery, I believe it is due to eating so little, that I don't have a lot of "ooommmph" left. And never was a morning exercise person, I prefer evenings. I wondered when some of you got started or had trouble with energy?
  2. THAT IS A PRETTY COOL POINT SLEEVE MASTER
  3. I did the same thing...lol. dreamed about food ALOT.
  4. I am so glad you said that, I am not even three weeks out and wondered why I still feel hunger! still on fluids at this point, starting puree. but have lost over 20 pounds already, so am pleased with it. praying for a good outcome. :-) :)
  5. Hang in there Newbie. I wouldn't mind shopping at Victoria's either!!!! guess I will put that on my list. Good Luck to you! :)
  6. You all have really helped, I am loving having people to talk to...
  7. WELL, thank God for the wonderful age of computers. At least there is a place to go and confer with people who are walking this walk. As you can see from the title of this, I had my sleeve done June 10th. Not quite 3 weeks into it, and I can say that for the most part I have felt sad, overwhelmed and lost. Not that I can blame anyone! I just think it is my way of adjusting. I have grieved over food, unsure of how to get enough protein, and not really enjoying much of anything that goes into my mouth. It is all about getting your mind right most people who HAVE NOT gone through this tell me, but I guess I have not yet been able to completely do that. I have lost a total of 22 pounds since my highest weight and I think about 17 since leaving the hospital. Now in the past few days I seem to have stalled. My nurse scolded me for getting on the scale every day, maybe twice a day...lol. I tend to be impatient in case you can't tell. I am approaching the puree phase, and almost scared maybe my loss will slow even more...personally, I think this thought is just from my past failures. You know, lose 20, stop, gain 30..that same old story, I guess I have a lot to learn. Looking forward to doing just that as I frequent these forums. :-)
