  1. I haven't had the surgery yet, but I just wanted to share what my surgeon told me at our consultation about marriage and WLS. He said that if your marriage is good then WLS will be absolutely awesome for the relationship, but that if your marriage is not good then you better "Start labeling your stuff" So, I think it is pretty common to have relationship issues after WLS.
  2. I just scheduled my surgery with Dr, Nick for June 25th. So far, everyone in his office has been super friendly and has gotten back with me quickly. I had a consultation with him a week ago and we seem to be a good patient/doctor fit because he is very forthright about everything and that's the thing I like most in a doctor.
