  1. Thank you... For some reason I had in my head 2 weeks, and I felt I could do that... To hear 4 was a shock. I did hear from another girl who was in a group session I attended that she has 8 weeks of opti I wanted to cry for her! I do love reading everyone's daily struggles and triumphs and am definitely taking it one day at a time.
  2. Hi guys, I've been lurking in the background jus reading where everyone is up to. I saw my dietician last week and found out I will need to do opti for 4 weeks prior to my surgery, I am worried how I will cope. It honestly freaked me out. I get to see my surgeon this Thursday to get my surgery date, I'm hoping seeing him will help lift my spirits.
  3. And Celebrate you should!!! You look amazing!!!!
  4. Good luck Brendan, let us know how you go:)
  5. Well done misty!! Look forward to hearing your progress
  6. Misty so excited for you!! Best wishes for tomorrow and the days following xx
  7. Thanks Kelli and Shell, I know I've made the right decision just freaked out when I heard that. Made me also realise I won't be sharing my news until after my surgery. The negativity messes with me so it's easier to keep things quiet for now. So glad I found this forum
  8. I'm in Gladstone, Have chosen a surgeon in Rockhampton which is an hour and a bit north of here.
  9. Hi guys, I'm just in the process of meeting my dietician and surgeon, just wondering how long you waited for surgery after your first meeting with your surgeon?
