  1. I was sleeved on the 15 too. I had cream of chicken Soup tonight and Greek yogurt today. I only ate about 2oz of yogurt, and about 3.5oz of soup which I think was to much. I had pain in my stomach right after. I actually had to call my doctor yesterday because I ad yet to poop or even pass any gas since surgery. He had me take milk of magnesia to stimulate my bowels. Well at 3:00am it finally worked! If your uncomfortable take it! I feel so much better since I did. Still have major gas pains but still better then yesterday!
  2. I was sleeved on the 15! Haven't even had my first weigh in. How was you first week of recovery? I had some issues
  3. I'm post -op since Monday. I've had the worse time with gas. I walked and walked and still could not pass anything. I called my doctor and they had me take milk of magnesia to stimulate my Bowles. It has been the only this that has helped with some form of relief. I still have terrible gas pains in my chest and stomach and its constantly rumbling, but it did help a little bit.Good luck to you!
  4. I have tried everything. The nurses in the hospital were even trying to literally burp me like a baby and still nothing! I have a lot of rumbling but nothing will come out!
  5. Ok.. This is a little personal SORRY! But has anyone else not passed any gas since surgery? I still can't and am starting to worry
  6. Just tell people that you have been eating healthy and exercising a lot! I'm not telling people at work about the surgery. So that's what I'm going to say.
  7. I also had a hernia that was repaired. I'm in the same situation as yo, my small incisions don't bother me at all my larger one on the left side is killing me! Every time I try to sit up or turn it has a burning sensation. I also have trouble with sipping I keep getting more air! I had the worse time with the gas and am still dealing with that. So, getting a little bit of air when I sip, bis not exactly comfortable! Hopefully by this weekend we'll all feel better!
  8. I'm only 3 days on post-op, I found if intake the Protein shots (110 calories and 26 grams of protein) and pour it into my Water bottle it tast like flavored water.i sip it throughout the day so I know I'm at least getting in some protein as I start the new way eating
  9. OMG! I hear ya about the gas! It's so bad I can't get it to move at all! I wish I could burp or fart! I'm sipping water with a protein shot in it but that's it. It hurts to even swallow right now! But I am glad to be home, hopefully tomorrow will be better then today!
  10. They kept me an extra day. I had a hard time with the gas, still have a lot of discomfort with it but its better the yesterday! Are you able to get down liquids? I can, but very sore!
