  2. Ugh they needed to get it together! !! And no I can't feel the staples. I've had a great recovery
  3. Had my surgery on the 3rd. So far so good!
  4. My surgery date was changed to may 3. Dr. Wizman did an amazing job. If it wasn't for the incisions I wouldn't have thought I had surgery. I felt no nausea and I'm able to drink water just fine. So far I'm very happy!

  6. I actually just had my surgery by him on May 3rd instead of the 6th. I thought he did a fantastic job. Aside from soreness and the incision sites, I almost feel like I had a fake surgery. The nurses thought I was great at recovering. I also unknowingly had a hiatal hernia that he repaired.
  7. My date was supposed to be the 6th. But i ended up having my surgery yesterday. So far so good!

  9. Not to sound like a giant nerd... but does anyone wanna be my sleeve buddy? My date is May 6th! It would be fun to email someone going thru it the same day with me... Although we will prob be too drugged up to really communicate lol.
  10. Soooo my surgeons office sent me 2 videos to watch. One on vsg the other anaesthesia. Ok both videos listed 11 complications EACH!!!! And pointed out that's not the entire list.

  13. Omg. Yes. I made the mistake of freaking myself out by watching the procedure on YouTube. My current fear are blood clots as well! !! My surgery is may 6th! You know the risks involved so i suggest you stop reading anything else scary. Especially at night even things are more scary!

  15. I start my preop diet on the 21st. Im drinking 5 "Slimfast 321" shakes a day, plus one meal of a lean protein and vegetable.

  19. Im taking 3 weeks off. I drive around all day, and Im gonna be in and out of my car and in the sun. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I dont want to be hot and feel weak. We'll see.

  22. Yea I'm not sure how I felt about him. My sister and sister in law were there And they loved him. I prefered cohen. But then I realized there's risk no matter who I go to. I just gotta hope pray and have faith I will have a successful surgery. I emailed a dr at Hialeah hosp but never heard back from them. :/ Its cool that you are local!
