  1. Well maybe that is to be expected! I had it checked again on Wednesday and my surgeon said it will scab up and fall off! I guess we just have to keep a close eye in it!
  2. I know... I thought that was the craziest thing I have ever heard! I am taking Benadryl... I am just going to keep hanging on!!
  3. I felt the same way the first week and a half after surgery! When I asked my surgeon about it he said that it was my body's way of trying to adjust to everything! I am 17days out and I am feeling fine now! I also make sure I don't wait to long to eat/drink something when I get up in the morning and stay hydrated!
  4. I actually called and spoke with the nurse yesterday and she told me that I needed to remove the scab so that it will continue to heal properly! I removed some skin around it but the actual scab is about the size of a nickel and its not budging (and I would rather let it fall off its self)! I am just watching it closely right now!
  5. A little but right now I am also having issues with REALLY dry skin so my whole body itches and has an awful red rash!!
  6. I am 2 1/2 weeks post op and My largest incision (the one they removed my stomach from) is all scabbed up and is starting to get redness around it but not really warm to touch! Did you have this problem with that incision... I am just curious to know someone else's healing process... The edema ins glue came off a few days ago and that is when the redness started???
  7. Hi everyone! I am 17 days post op and everything has been pretty smooth sailing so far but over the past few days my skin is so dry and itchy... I now have this fine red rash all over my arms, thighs and stomach! Did anyone experience anything like this and did anything help it! I am getting at least 6-8cups of Water daily and taking fish oil! Thanks for any help! ???? Shelby
