GAmom your simply amazing!!....I honestly believe this experience depends on what kind of attitude you have going into it! I'm stoked(and nervous I ain't gonna lie lol) about getting this done in 46 days and I have it set in my mind that it's gonna be a breeze like you made it seem lol! I can only hope that it really does go that smoothly for myself and all the rest of the fellow sleevers! =)

Nicole I'm going to be sleeved on Apr 26th....so excited and nervous at the same time lol!!

I'm a single parent of 4 kids that are between the ages of 5-12....and I've decided to get sleeved because I wanna be around as long as I possibly can for them!! =)

Confidence where are you having your surgery at?

Hey bwatts13....did you have a problem with the language barrier? How was you feeling afterwards and how about the pain?

What kind of infection did you get?

That sounds kind of discouraging....I'm having surgery at that hospital with Rodriguez in 7 weeks....hope you start feeling better real soon and keep us all posted!!

Having surgery April 26th....anyone else scheduled for April?

You and I are almost exactly the same....weight, height, BMI, high blood pressure and cholesterol,....only difference is I already have the diabetes to go along with it! My friends and co-workers tell me the EXACT same thing....they don't think I'm 'big enough" for the surgery and should try something else! I simply tell them that they don't know what I'm feeling and regardless what their opinion is I'm still getting it done!! I have 56 days and counting til the big day....right now I'm excited but I'm sure as the days get closer I will start to freak out some! Just keep your head up and keep doing you b/c that's all that matters!!
