  12. Hi, I'm a little over 2 months of being sleeved and already getting discouraged. It's me, not my sleeve, I have great restriction, but Im always at a loss as what to eat.(and I'm a slow loser) Even when I was skinny, I had high Cholesterol, so I'm scared to eat things like cheese and beef. I'm looking for a book that has eating plans/suggestions specific to the sleeve. Thanks for any replys! ! :-D

I order one spicy tuna hand roll, no rice, wrapped with soy paper, avacado and thin slices of cucumber. Fills me up and is soooo yummy :-)
  17. Hi everyone!!! I'm so excited, I finally broke my loooong stall. Down 7 lbs in 11 days!!!! Down 33 ugly awful pounds since surgery!!! Yaaayyy!!! I'm tracking my calories ( usually under 900) I think I was just eating unhealthy high protein like bacon. Now I'm eating more "lean meat" like chicken, seafood, fish and shrimp. At night when I get the evening munchies, I eat a string cheese. That helps. I have restriction for sure, but I believe I was putting unhealthy food in my body that was helping to cause my stall. I've never was a healthy eater, so I'm just taking this day by day. Can you all believe that it's been 8 weeks since surgery? ??
  18. Hi, I had the band in 2007. Lost a whole 40 lbs in 5 years, probably from throwing up and not being able to eat chicken, shrimp, vegetables, the usual healthy foods got stuck, so I ended up eating a lot of slider foods and drinking alot of pineapple juice to help get unstuck. Total painful nightmare. So last Oct 2012, I went in for surgery for revision from band to sleeve. When I woke up from the anesthesia the doctor said there was no way he was going to sleeve me because the band did so much damage to my stomach. We waited 9 months and I had my sleeve done July 8 2013 so far so good except for the stalling. But I love the restriction and I love that I'm able to eat healthy food without it getting stuck. I feel like I'm a slow loser but I'm losing and the scale is going down slowly, and I'm very happy I had the surgery and I'm so glad that that dreaded band is out of my body!!! :-D No more pain!!!!! Yaaaaaayyy! !!
  19. You're looking great! ! I also had surgery on July 8th!! I'm trying to break my stall though. Im thinking that in a year, you will lose a bunch as long as you stick to the rules. I have faith in this surgery:-)
  20. I hit the stall after 2 weeks, still stalling for 5 weeks. I'm frustrated. :-(
  21. No pain here. But I have been taking in between 700-800 calories and tracking everything I eat. I've been at a stall for a month and a half now, and been super frustrated and mad. So yesterday I ate some very high calorie food(felt guilty) but it was soooo good. and what do you know? I stepped on the scale this morning and I'm 4 pounds down! !!!!
  22. Thank god for sashimi!! :-) also, panda express has teriyaki chicken that is really yummy.
