  3. I'm having surgery Feb 18th, àt Baylor Trophy Club, sleeve and hernia repair. I'm 63 and I keep my grand babies 3 days a week. You that have already had the surgery think I will feel like keeping them, the week I have surgery? I handle pain very well, but from reading the posts I'm afraid I might be tired. I don't want to be impatient with my grandkids. They are ages 3 years and one is 10 months. I am weak and terribly hungery on my pre op diet. Will I be less hungery and weak after surgery? I could eat the singles off the roof right now. Thanks in advance, Elaine
  4. I'm on my PRE op diet and have bad headaches. I hear the 3rd day is better, I'm on my second. My surgery date is 18th Feb at Baylor trophy club. Lets hang in there girls and guys.

  12. I had to wait for insurance approval. Now they say THERE doctor has to review my cardio approval. I feel like they are putting me off. Why can't they go ahead and give you a schedule? Guess I'm impatient! Lol
  13. I'm sooo bad ... I confess I had to gain to get to 40 so I would meet the qualification
  14. Well I meet all the requirements so says the insurance rep from the docs office . I got my fingers crossed!
  15. If your policy states that it covers weight loss. In my case the VS, and your bmi has to be 40, or have two problems such as high blood pressure, or diabetic. What reason would they have for denying it. Also it requires one hour with nutrition one hour psych. Which I have done. I am so nervous, and just wondering what reasons are given for denial. Any responses will be appreciated. Oh... I do not have anything medically wrong except the 40 bmi
  16. That is the best news yet! I love my diet coke. Will your stomach let you know when you have had enough?
  17. I will be sad if I am denied ... I had to gain a few, to get to the 40 bmi. I feel bad, like cheating. But I have battled food since my first child 40 years ago. I thought insurance would approve if you were overweight enough and had the coverage? I have had fun eating just what I want since I decided to get the surgery. I know it is just more to lose.
  18. You drink sodas!? Do you wait till they are flat to drink them? That is the one thing I will miss forever, I thought
  19. I'm really pigging out. I'm trying to get my fill of my favorites diet coke and chocolate almond ice cream. I'll be glad when I get the noticed that I've been approved so I can schedule my surgery. I know I should be dieting now...but I'm sure gonna miss all this good stuff!
