  1. Biggest decision of this morning was whether to shave the hoo haa or not. Leaving in a few for the hospital! Good luck everyone who is today!!!
  2. Only if your Mother says so!!!
  3. I check in at 6 am too. I told the doctor he was doomed because I am a cranky pants in the morning.
  4. This is what kills me..every doctor is soooo different pre op and post op!!! Good luck everyone tomorrow!!!
  5. You are lucky!!! Today is only clear liquids and I have to drink 3 bottles of Magnesium Citrate....
  6. That's great!!!! I am always amazed at how different doctors are in their post op regimen. Mine only allows liquids for the first two weeks after surgery I am glad you are feeling better!!!
  7. Congrats!!! How are you feeling?'
  8. So far so good! Spent the day running around ugh!!!
  9. The last two weeks have been an emotional roller coaster before my surgery on Tuesday..so I made a Bucket List of what I want to do after Surgery!!! 1. Sky Dive 2. Rock climb 3. Run a 5k 4. Run a 10k 5. Participate in a Tough Mudder These are high end goals I know the little things too are going to be great 1. Fit in an airplane seat!!! I dunno thought I would share
  10. I am the 12th too!!
  11. Lol!!! I have the same issue I think since I am using the I phone app
  12. Let me in!!! I don't know who is the mod..I just keep seeing references! 2/12 here!!!
  13. I find it interesting that as a Doctor at Kaiser you can get the sleeve done. I am a PO employee based in the Ohio region and was told I don't meet the BMI requirement for recommendation of surgery.
  14. I would be interested to know this too Jenny. I get sleeved on 2/12 and have a six month prescription for this from the doctor already. Apparently it thins the bile so gallstones do not form.
  15. I honestly have to laugh at the negativity some people brought to this thread. It amazes me that grown people who come from all walks of life and varying experiences are the first to jump on a post to either refute, bully or just downright be rude and then hide behind "it is a free country and I can share my opinion". I was teased immensely for being fat and I would never post such things to make anyone else feel hurt. I think some of you have forgotten how words can hurt. I have lurked on these forums for a while and it always seems like it is the same few.
  16. I dunno... I was just getting ready to break out the popcorn (eat it while I still can)!!!
  17. Between the boob worry and the catheter I am just dying of embarrassment lol! But I keep reminding myself..these guys have seen it all
  18. So not to be the dissenter here, but since the IUD sits in your Cervix and shape changes to the cervix are prompted by menopause, pregnancy etc..losing a large amount of weight should have no effect on whether the IUD "fits" your cervix..they are all the same size, only the string length differs. I think what you are seeing is an increase in fertility to the point that Birth Control efforts need to be increased. All those fat cells have a ton of estrogen in them so the hormones in the Mirena or the copper in the Paraguard may not be able to keep up. I just wanted to post because I don't think the link is IUDs as a rule and don't want people to run off in a panic getting theirs removed.
  19. February 12th for me!
  20. Based on the way this user typed the date I am guessing they are not from the US, so the decoding may take a bit
  21. Actually it does not sound like that at all. I also don't appreciate you judging how much or how little a bonus I earn when you have zero clue what I do. Furthermore, I am not following your logic about bonuses and high insurance costs.
