This dr is crazy I have pancreatitis and she wants me to drink water so I can go home HELLO MY STOMACH IS SHUT!!! I don't think she has called my surgeon though I asked her to. What should I do?

Hey guys still in ER. In severe pain dr will not give me high enough pain dose. But that may change my liver enzymes are elevated and there is fluid sitting outside the stomach. I don't have a plan yet will keep posted thank you all for the prayers please pray for pain relief!!!!

Thanks guys I'm going to take a shower if I didn't have two young children I would have called already. I'm trying to stay calm they know I have to go but they don't know how bad it really could be and I want it to stay that way I'm trying to get a hold of a friend to help. I will keep you postedI'm in oh ooh so I have about two hours. I tried to swallow some soup to see if it would go away and my chest hurt and stomach and spread so I defiantly will be going even if its just dehydration I have had diarrhea all day so it could just be that. My surgeon just forgot that I was already on antibiotics I just tried to make it up my stairs and I'm weak and out of breath my hubby gets off work at 830 so unless I start dying I have to wait until he gets here so I can go up!You are so right!! The nurse just called me back and said I need to call my family physician. So now I will have to pay copayment and watch they will say its from my stomachMy stomach is still swelled. My throat seems to be swelling right now it's feels funny so maybe I should back off trying liquids. I feel better as long as I don't try to drink anything. My surgery was oct 1st I'm three weeks tomorrow and the day after my surgery my stomach swelled shut. I have been on TPN (iv nutrition) for three weeks. I can try to sip water up to full liquids but can only sip cause I throw everything back up or get very nauseated when I try. Go back in two weeks maybe they will be able to open me back up. But it has been good for me to learn that food isn't the answer to stress and it has made me find other ways to cope.Hi guys my name is Lindsay.
