  1. Anyone in the Seattle Tacoma area out there?
  2. Rick M, this is completely one of those situations with the differing opinion. I have a follow up with my primary care doctor but part of me doesn't feel to safe with what his answer will be. I think the best answer will have to be from my surgeon. I have long time back issues, which was the need for the surgery but along with that I have to treat the pain and inflammation I have now until that weight comes off. So we will see what the consensus is....
  3. Has anyone been sleeved through tricare? What were your thoughts on the process?
  4. Are all NSAIDs no good forever after being sleeved?
  5. I had a really bad problem with this!!! Drink some Gatorade, switch it with water. And LOTS of protein. I upped mine up to 70g when I was feeling how you are. This helped a lot! But everyday you start feeling better once you get enough protein in you consistently. Good luck!
  6. Surgery on 9.28 at 225. Today's 208 and stalled for a couple days. It's hard to see stalling when our caloric intake is so low!
  7. I was sleeved on Oct 1st, since I've been home I've gotten heartburn at night that wakes me up. My doc had me on Prilosec 20mg, then upped it to 40mgs. I'm still having it at night, waking me up. Is this something that goes away? Any suggestions? Thanks!
  8. I am 4 days post op and not really in any pain. Just having trouble with the emotional part. Has anyone else gone through that part? I had my band taken out because it was making me sick and couldn't hold down any solids. The hardest part now with the liquid diet is getting enough protein and enough water. I feel so dehydrated and just want to sleep. I'm reading all these positive stories that everyone has posted and I feel like something is wrong with me because I'm not happy at all right now.is there anyone who can relrelate to this? Thank you.
