  6. That's amazing! I havn't stepped on a scale since my pre-op test on 9/25. Can't wait to hop on that same scale Thursday and see exactly what I've accomplished.
  7. Day 11 of liquid diet and I supr geekd about getn to the other side! Nevr been so happy to ride the losers bench. This band has had me in a stupr for years. Four more days and I'm ready to start life again, again. What's been on your mind leading up to 10.11.12?
  8. I believe in God, 100%! I believe in God, His son Jesus and His active force Holy Spirit. I appreciate His ransom sacrifice for our sins that we may have everlasting life. My faith, in years past was tarnished like many of you; by priests, pastors, etc. that were only (hindsight) interested in a showy display. However it's by God's loving kindness that I have learned different through His word the Bible. Man may help me to reason but Gods word, the Bible, is what teaches me. I'm no where near perfect, I'm learning something new with each page turned in my Bible but I know, for myself, God is real!
  9. Amazing.....my exact story PLUS 26 add'l lbs.
  10. Best advice I have, as Im on day 8/14 of liquid diet, take each day as its own. Celebrate yesterday's success and focus on today. Each day is its own. Im supr edgy and Iv beggd my nurse for a slice of cucumber, celery, one cashew --no way was the answer. U can do it surely if I can.

  15. So far so good, Dr. Kim is still doing same day revision to sleeve . I'm scheduled next week. Only if there's a lot of scaring will he separate the two....thank goodness bc I'd really like to do one recovery and get this show on the road!!!
  16. Hey there fellow revisioners! I see a lot of removed bands and waiting periods between. I'm going from band to sleeve and my surgeon warned me of that, however, it's not common in his experiences of doing this. He doesn't anticipate doing seperate procedures...but u nevr kno til u get n there :/ Did u kno it was going to be done in two sugery's or were u surprised when u woke?
