  1. I had my mind already thinking that I would have to do a two week liquid diet. I am going to go ahead with it. I think it will be better for myself to be ready for it coming out of surgery. He did say if I was heavier than I would have to go on a liquid before hand. Who would off thought a 377 lb male isn't heavy enough to have to do a pre-op diet. thanks for your input.
  2. I had my consultation with my Dr yesterday and told me that I didn't have to go on a pre-op diet. He only asked that I have no food or drink after 10pm the night before my surgery. I don't know if I should feel lucky or concerned. Every bit of research I have done on this procedure says that I go on a 2 week liquid diet before surgery. The Dr. also said that he has done enough of these that he doesn't ask his patients to do the diet. What’s your opinion?
