  1. Just an update. I drank nothing but warm water with a little lemon juice and then today it was like a volcano erupted. I feel much better now and I will be taking a stool softener daily so it doesn't happen again. Thanks for the info that was given.
  2. It is a full time job but the payoff is worth it. I was sleeved 9/19 and I am completing my 2nd week. My constipation is better now. I take a stool softener daily and make sure I get at least my fluids in. My shake makes me nauseated now so I am seeking a different one. Preop 204 surgery day 196.5 today 183.6. To those withbissuesbi pray daily for you to be healed. By Jesus stripes you are healed.
  3. I'm going to try something because this is getting pretty back. I feel like making myself vomit to get some relief.
  4. I am 10 days post op. I am on full liquids but have not been able to do the full liquids. I have went back to clear liquids jello popsicles because I have severe constipation. My constipation started when I introduced my protein shakes and creamed soups. Any advise to alleviate this would be great. It has been three days and now j am feeling like I need to vomit. Even when j drink my water because I am too full. I am only getting in about two hundred calories for the last few days.
  5. This evening was very hard because I was at a conference and they served food. Not just food but one of my favorites pan pizza from Pizza Hut. With a nice 7 layer green salad sparkling punch and for dessert ice cream with toppings cherries and whip cream. No I didn't do it. I was strong
  6. Hi everyone I was sleeved on 9/19/12 by dr. Um WLA kaiser. Never has to take the pain meds I was gassy but was up walking about an hour after being moved to my room. Went home the following day. Only issue I had was the pain when swallowing. It does get easier. I just walked everyday I'm back up to my 4 miles. Pre op was 204 yesterday was 185.4. It is hard sometimes but I can wait til phase three.
  7. I too was sleeved on 19th and have the same issue. It has been getting better for me each day. Yesterday I was able to get a lot more in. Walk everyday if you can. I am taking omeprazole capsules which I open and sprinkle over my sugar free jello. It does get better.
  8. I was sleeved on the 19th and besides a little gas pain after survey I have been fine. No pain meds I have been walking since I was moved from the recovery room. I walk everyday bout a mile. A little hard getting protein in because of taste. I so have a little pain when no drink but it gets better everyday. Remember everyone is different just keep a positive mind and spirit and ask questions.
  9. I was sleeved on the 19th and I am on clear liquids till tomorrow when I can go to full liquid for about 10 days then purée food. I have been walking each day since I came home on Thursday. Taking all vitamins getting fluid in better now still not getting all the protein in( the taste is horrible and I did taste test before) just today feeling a lil weak and woozy, maybe not getting enough of something what I'm not sure.
  10. I was sleeved on 9/19 and was told that the sooner I can walk the better. I started my walking again on Friday day after I came home. I wasn't told not to go to the gym just not to strain or lift over 25lbs. I still have a pain when I drink something hot or cold. It goes away very quickly but stops me in my tracks any suggestions
  11. I was sleeved on the 19th. I have not taken any pain meds. I did have a little nausea. My issue now is the gas. I am sipping very slowly and very little at a time but still getting the gas pain. I started walking right after surgery and went walking once I got home with no problems. Because of the gas pain I'm afraid I'm not getting enough fluids in. Any suggestions.
