  1. Hi,

    I'm frakin out here...

I had VSG on July 29 and everything was going amazing until the last few weeks. I started out on my liquid diet and within the first 2 weeks I had lost 20 lbs...awesome. Everyday I got on the scale I was loosing more and more..what an incredible feeling. I had my surgery done in Mexico and was very happy with my surgeon and the care that I received. I went to see my Dr here in the states for blood work and follow up. I was a walking zoobie and was getting very light headed and alomost passing out in the shower, etc. So my doctor recommened added some soft foods a little early to give my body some nutrition, ect. I stated out with some cottage cheese. Keep in mind this was only 3 1/2 weeks after surgery and my surgeons diet plan was not starting me on food until the 5th and 6th week. I thought this was ok because I have a friend of a friend how had surgery in TX and she sent me her diet plan and she was eating pureed foods like cottage cheese at 3 weeks. Anyway, I have started excersing but I haven't lost anymore weight. I'm afraid that I messed something up....I haven't called my surgeon which is what I should do, I just need some advice or an honest opinion.

Please let me know your thoughts...

    Thanks,

    Angie
