  1. LOL!! Thanks! These workouts are a bit tough but the results are just so worth it!! However, I've pretty much kept up with these over the years so it might take awhile, but I truly know that you will see results after each and every session.
  2. Guess what? It is OK to feel good about yourself!! It is OK to pat yourself of the back for your HARD WORK and ACCOMPLISHMENTS!! It is OK to feel SEXY and Celebrate your inner DIVA!! It is OK to share your story without feeling like someone will try to blow your house down!! Go out there and be yourself, enjoy living and loving the new life you have. To all BE BLESSED!! So that said, tell me... what about YOU makes you feel sexy??? For me? Well, my CONFIDENCE does that for me!!!!
  3. I actually do not eat anything before my morning workout. Then straight after I will make myself an Atkins and add half a scoop of either
  4. I just thought I'd share this photo here with you all. This is what this exercise body sculpting program is doing for me. I know its from this because after every session I can feel it and sorry to say I just feel incredible and sexy after.
  5. Yayyyy Congrats!!!! You've really rocked your sleeve!! And you look FANTASTIC!!!
  6. Well, this thread will be right here waiting for you when you are ready. I think the LBD is an awesome NSV for us ladies. I sure would like to see many more posts!!!
  7. LOL!! I know, me too - I've tried every approach to stop this, short of just getting rude and all in their face. The only thing I think that will stop it is lots of time between my new look now and my old self. Maybe in a year from now no one will mention it anymore and everyone will be onto the next subject.
  8. Awesome!!! I know it has done nothing but wonderful things for me.
  9. I was also a revision from Band to Sleeve. I told everyone and their Mamas about my Lap Band. It was moritying for me once I gained my weight back and while being on display. I just didn't want to go through that ever again!! I chose not to tell anyone (save for my hubby and close family!). Well my weight loss was pretty dramatic and fast so I do get questioned on my method all the time. Sometimes I tell them, and sometimes I don't. I all depends on my mood at the time. It's my story to tell and if I don't feel like it at any one time, I don't even sweat it. It has nothing to do with anything except just not feeling like it really. I personally don't care what anyone thinks or whatever. If I do talk about it, everyone is really open to it though and haven't ever come accross any strange or negative feedback. Most folks seem to be more interested in hearing about it. I know this, so if that's usually how I decide whether or not I have the time to discuss it, or if I even want to. Gawsh I hope I'm making any kind of sense right now... Anyway so what I'm really saying is, do whats best for you always. Then if you change your mind later and choose to start opening up to others about it, that's ok too. It's your life!! Live it how you feel best.
  10. Here's the link to all interested: http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/21835-callanetics-10-years-younger-in-10-hours/ It usually takes one hour and for best results, 2x per week is sufficient. They are rather difficult though - but the results are really worth it.
  11. I hear ya!! That's why I don't do any strength training. I gain muscle too easily and I'm heavy enough. Don't worry anyway, according to the book, she says 2 sessions per week is sufficient so you're right in there. *hugs*
  12. My sliders are popcorn ( I agree it has to be the 100 calorie pops or I way over do it ), Ritz Crackers ( OMG I can eat so many of these its ridiculous ), Actually... all crackers, Chips, Pretzels, anything liquidy, SF Candies ( my tummy doesn't like sugar so I can't eat a lot of that - but SF and I get into trouble ), etc... pretty much everything everyone else has already mentioned.
  13. Don't beat yourself up over this. 3 Oz of Chocoloate Mousse a failure does not make. Now if you start doing this every day and eating more than a single serving... then start to worry. But for that, just enjoy it for the moment and move on.
  14. HOOORRAYYY!! It looks like you're your own name sake!! Wishing you much success as you get ready to begin your sleeve life.
  15. Okay ladies and gentlemen, let's vote for a weekend date to all get together for a meet and greet. I think it's safe to say Vacaville is getting the most feedback, so that could be our meeting place. Exactly where we can figure out soon. Perhaps Foxbins might have some suggestions?
  16. Howdy Dave, and welcome!!! You asked a series of questions, yet you answered them all in one swoop. "but then again, if I don’t I probably won’t live anyway. " That's all you need to remember as you head on this journey. Taking this leap you are going to start living again like you never thought you could! If you ever need anything, just let me know. I'm always glad to help. I love my sleeve!!!! I know you will too. All the best!!
  17. HOORRAAAYYYY!!!! And you got here so quickly!! Congratulations girlie - you've done well!!!! You look like a whole new woman BIG HUGS!!!
  18. The Biggest Loser contestants lose all that weight in 6-8 months. They train hard in the gym minimum 8 hours of their day. They just have amazing trainers and know which exercises are the best to handle batwing situations. I really don't have bad ones, but they are there. I do a lot of arm toning to help with it. However, I dn't do any repetitious weight lifting so that's not it. Look in that book coops, there is an awesome toning exercise that I do every time I do those workouts. It's like extending your arms from front to back... give it some time and it will work.
  19. Here's the good news. They do not know how much you weigh... so they are used to seeing you day in and day out at a certain size. That they can see! But as you whittle away it takes them time to get used to the new you. To them, you really are skinny. Here's the bad news. It's just gets worse. I was actually led around by the hand last week so some gal here at work could show me off. That was a little embarrassing!!! Apparently I'm the talk of the town here. I felt a little on display... I hope that never happens again.
  20. I believe with all of my heart that any one of us can reach any goals we set for ourselves. The sleeve has made this possible for myself and countless others here from what I've seen. I can't say this is true for all WLS though. The band didn't get me anywhere (speaking from my own personal experience of course) and I've seen many RnY patients who never reach goal. I don't really know what the differences are, however I've seen so many of us sleevers reach our goals and beyond! SK, it's funny you should mention not getting taller because I just remeasured my height and I gained an inch back. Granted I was 5'7 as far as I can remember but when I was being measured for my BMI to start my LapBand process I was measured at 5'6. So yeah, we can even get a little taller with weight loss. I'm sure it's all posture related, but I'm glad to know I got my inch back!!! CT, Just keep doing you. Set your goal and fight for it. If your goals should change, that's ok too. You make the rules for your own body. You will get there, I have no doubts.
  21. ...and yet still none of the guys here have posted us any pics!!! C'mon guys!!!
  22. Thanks girlie!!! And thank you for giving me that last bit of convincing I needed to get this done!!! Xoxo
  23. Sorry I can't do Aug. 27th y'all - that's only 2 days after my surgery. Don't let that stop you all though, I can always catch the next one.
  24. Oh for goodness sakes!!! I think that might be why I was specific on what to post here... LMAO!!
  25. Yes I meant to rhyme! So, as I know us ladies are enjoying our LBD thread - I think the guys need to contribute here too. And not so much that ccb might show us what he looks like in a little black dress.. Hahaaa!! I know we've got some guys here who've done really well with their sleeve, and now it's time to show it off!!!
