  1. Should I be worried about a leak in my staple line now?
  2. I'm 5 days post op having trouble today just ate some sugar free jello and laid down. Started feeling nauseous so I took an anti nauseas pill but I didn't take it soon enough. Sat up in my chair thinking elevation would help but I just violently dry heaved for about 3 mins. What are the chances I just hurt my sleeve?
  3. I was sleeved on July 15th and my hair is/ was my best feature. But after losing my hair after 2 pregnancies I decided the out come of my hair from this operation probably won't be a good one. I had long ... Healthy... Shinny.. Dark auburn hair... And the night before surgery.... I CHOPPED IT OFF!! It was kinda my own way of saying f-u body, I ruined it on my own terms. Lol it's hair, it will grow back.. I plan to start biotin soon. But in the mean time it helped to know I still had control over this one thing... Good luck!
  4. I think I've had all I can stomach of the liquid pain meds. 5 days out and I haven't puked yet. But waking up hurting just a few mins ago and taking my liquid pain med I about threw up in my bed! I will enjoy figuring out how to swallow actual Tylenol tomorrow and be joyful.
  5. ... Water and protein can kiss my butt!! There is no way I'm going to be able to get 60oz of water in, in a day. Or 60grams if protein!! I sip sip sip all day long and I'm lucky to get 20oz of water and 30grams of protein.
  6. ... Where does all that nasty fluid go if I didn't get a drain?
  7. Thanks for hijacking my thread...
  8. I'm super sore, I had a haital hernia repaired while my sleeve done. But I'm doing good. First night home and ready to get some rest. Just waiting for my meds to kick in. My surgery was done in McLaren northern Michigan hospital in Petoskey. I am 100% pleased and happy with dr. Nagles performance and bedside manner. He awoke me early this morning to ask me how my night went and how my pain was and if I had any questions or concerns and then explained my hiatal hernia. It was nice to be able to talk to him while the hospital was quite and calm.

My surgery was done in McLaren northern Michigan hospital in Petoskey. Dr. Nagle and dr. Baker switch weeks and travel north to take on patients that other wise wouldn't have surgery because of the traveling. I am 100% pleased and happy with dr. Nagles performance and bedside manner.
