  1. Mine is coming out on Monday......2 weeks before my lapband surgery. I've never had a problem with it but my doc said its got to go!
  2. Congratulations....I am May 21st also! I am going in on the 7th to have my gall bladder out so it is going to be a crazy couple of weeks for me. Good Luck, Maureen
  3. Glad I could help! Good luck with Daisy.....soon you will be wearing Daisy Dukes!!!!!:clap2:
  4. That is hysterical.....I had the wire poking me under my armpit while at work but not in the chin! At least you had fun with it! These stories are so funny. What a great way to say some of the things that deep down really hurt us but now we can share and laugh.....its kind of free-ing! Good luck to all of us May Flowers
  5. I want to be able to tuck in a shirt again....I know its not the style but I still would like to have the option. I want to walk up stairs and be able to talk when I get to the top. I want to live long enough to drive my kids crazy and spoil the grandkids! Enjoying snowboarding, wakeboarding and hiking without it feeling like a chore. To be in pictures and not hide behind someone (like that helps). I want to get out of bed without the feeling of rolling out of bed. Dance at parties.....in a dress!!! OMG Cute underwear instead of Granny Panties..... Bras without hardware.....:nervous
  6. Great Chart!!! I was going to ask to be on it and....I already am!!! Well Done! Healthy wishes to all!
  7. Well first I would like to say that I am snowboarding with my family today and I wanted to cry when I got really out of breath and couldn't keep up and then I realized that this is the last time this will happen to me....next year I will be in better, healthier shape!!!! Which leads me to one of the reasons I am glad I am getting banded. 1) health....being around to see the grandkids 2) snowboarding and wakeboarding with the family 3) not being embarassed of myself all the time.....Its like a constant bad hair day 4) three million other reasons that I am sure that everyone shares with me from shopping to tying shoes and wearing shorts that don't bunch.....
  8. I will be banded on May 21st also with Dr Schneider at BIDMC!! It seems like so long to wait but it will give me time to lose a few pounds first. I am like and emotional rollercoaster. I am not having second thoughts but I go from scared to excited and everything in between!!!
  9. I just got my date today......May 21st!! It seems like it is going to take forever....I am sooo ready, I want it done today:) I look forward to hearing all about everyones progress. It is so motivating!
  10. Hello All, I am new here and have tons of questions but my first is "shouldn't we be the Mass Bandsta's"????? You all sound like such a good group, I cannot wait to have my surgery and be able to offer advise and support too.
