I'm sitting here watching before and after videos on youtube and I've never seen so many failed "lap band" stories. What if my surgery turns for the worst?

Just got my approval phone call..now my journey officially begins!!

Does anyone know if bcbs cover reconstructive surgery?

Psych appointment in 15 minutes and I'm even more nervous now.... I'm getting anxious for this approval so I can start my new journey!

I go back to my doctor next Friday but I'm pretty sure she will give me that....

Well my doctor said it was a little low. I googled the symptoms and so far I fall under the iron deficiency category because I'm always eating ice....

I just got my blood work back and I'm anemic.... will that prevent me from getting the surgery?

Well I have the PPO plan. I know with *** there is more requirements and you need a referral from your doctor plus the 6 month diet plan

Oh ok... I have BCBSIL... I meet their requirements hopefully they approve it cause if they don't I'm going to be really upset

At St James Hospital in Olympia fields IL...what type of insurance do you have?

I literally just walked out my consultation. Alot of testing on my part but my doctor told me I should wait for the approval letter from my insurance company before I rack up on bills. Other than that my evaluations are scheduled for next week. Hope all goes well
