  1. How long did it take for te pain to stop and your incisions to heal? I had my surgery August 3rd and still have quite a bit of pain around my biggest incision. When I'm laying down is the most pain. Or when I switch positions in bed is when my chest pain comes as then it will go away until I switch positions again. Any advice?
  2. Does riding a bike too much make your bum flat since your sitting down for so long? :/
  3. Hello all, My name is Gina and I am 25 years old. I am a newbie on this site and so far have found it absolutely amazing. Everyone is so knowlegdable and so sweet. I am now 3 days post- op. My surgery was at 11am on August 3rd 2012. My highest weight was 241. Pre-op before liquid diet 236. One day into liquid diet 230 second day into liquid diet 227. Day of surgery 8/3 I was 224. During my hospital stay I went back up to 227. Today I am 224. Any advice for the newbie in town? Reguarding anything and everything! I need as much advice as possible. From diets to excercise esp. Because I am worried about excess skin? Anything you have to offer I will be grateful of. Thanks ❤
  4. You and anyone else who barely has to shave.... You guys are so lucky!!!
  5. Me being 230 it's not hard but def can get uncomfortable. If I really don't want to do it. My boyfriend does it for me. And he does EVERYTHING. Lol o.O everything is so much easier to do when your not heavy. :/
  6. Wow that must have been just terrible I spent three days in the hospital after surgery and that was just enough for me! I couldn't imagine 4 weeks! Did they say what caused your leak? I very curious since I am just got sleeved on the 3rd. My prayers go out to you and your family and I am so sorry you have had to experience this! Wishing everyone the best
  7. Good luck! I hope you have a speedy recovery!!
  8. I had my surgery August 3rd 2012. I started this process August of 2011. I am 25, 26 in November. I stayed in the hospital til August 5th. My highest weight was 241. Pre-op weight was 230. Hospital weight after two days of liquid diet/before surgery was 226. Current weight 8/6/12 is 224. I am still having chest pains. And it is very hard to take in all liquids required. Seems the slower I drink the more it tastes disgusting to me a lot of nauseated feelings but no vommiting. I hope all the August sleevers go through this with less pain as possible. Good luck!
  9. I will have to look into that. Thank you. That is for the broth right?
  10. Hey everyone. I am 3 days post-op and I am finding it very hard to drink my protein drink. The slower I drink it the more disgusting to me it becomes. This also happens with broth. Any suggestions on making the drink taste better?
