How do you decide which surgeon/hospital is the best for you? What mattered to you when you where deciding? I'm not sure who to go with. You hear good and bad from people, and then it confuses you Any suggestions?

What can I expect from the information session? I'm going to the one at CMC in Manchester, NH. Has anyone gone to that one? I'm wondering if I'll meet with anyone afterwards, or if I just wait for a phone call Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone have Cigna as their insurance carrier? How long did you have to wait before getting approved? Are they decent to deal with? I've heard horror stories about some insurance companies.

HI, my name is Julie and I'm in New Hampshire. I've just started the process of getting approved for VSG surgery. I've gotten my referral from my PCP, initial bloodwork, and H&P sent over to the hospital. I have my first info session next Tuesday. I'm very excited but not very patient, though I'm trying to work on that lol. Any suggestions? I know there are alot of "hoops" to jump through before getting an approval, so any help is appreciated.
