  1. You just described me! Funny, I never thought just belonging to a generation would be so literal...
  2. Wow. Thank you everyone. I needed this real feedback. It has been kind of a good thing for me. I had not been exercising and this has given me the " kick in the ass" I needed. I have started walking. It isn't major, but in the past I have over done it at the beginning and just quit. It certainly is easier without the extra 40 lbs. Thank you Cheri. Your feedback in particular is very affirming!
  3. Thanks. I was feeling good until I got the label slow looser. It made me question myself. I have been feeling insecure all day. And you are right I have never ever lost this much on my own.
  4. i had my 4 month follow up today. They confirmed I am a slow looser. I started with a low bmi so they weren't surprised. Still happy with my results though. I should exercise more though
  5. I don't have a "too small" section in my closet. I can wear ALL the clothes!
  6. I am in a similar situation. 40 lbs in 4 months. I am thrilled with it though. I feel great an have no loose skin. I am in a loose size 14. I
  7. Forgot I was fat and can't run for two minutes straight! Ha ha!
  8. That's interesting. I wonder what the compound is. Yes I do. 99% of my fluids are flavored with crystal light
  9. The super fantastic news is that i hit onederland this morning! The bad news is I am payed up with gallstones. I just got back from the ultra sound. Fingers crossed I won't need surgery. But holla!! Onederland in two months! That's 30 lbs!!!
  10. I think I had a gallstone attack today. Painful and right spot. It lasted about an hour. I called surgeon and made an appt with my gen phys. If it is my gall bladder must it come out? Not loving the thought of another surgery so soon
  11. My surgeon brought me a stuffed bear the second day. I call him beri the Bariatric bear. He was very helpful to press againt my stomach when I was getting into and out of bed
  12. Just had a minor emergency in my neighborhood. I pulled on a pair of jeans and ran out to help. It wasn't until later that I realized I was comfortably wearing jeans from my "too tight" pile. Great feeling!
  13. I was told no caffeine and no asprine. Tylenole didn't touch it. I had some lortab left over that has pushed it away a little, but that won't help with future attacks. Mine seem linked to TOM. Thank god not every month though.
  14. Anyone else get them? What do you take now? I am suffering and no idea what to take
  15. Sorry got mine wrong too. It's lmmoreland.
  16. Dry weight. Perfect. I love this forum. I post a bizarre thought and instead of people thinking I am nuts you relate.
  17. It is funny how differently we measure success after the sleeve. Pre-sleeve I would be over the moon with this weight loss. Now. I feel impatient that I am not under 200 yet.
  18. Mean really? Stupid scale. I need to stop weighing every day. It's just making me crazy.
  19. 5 weeks out. Well more like 6 weeks this Thursday. 24 lbs down.
  20. Finally feeling that extra energy everyone talks about! I went back to work today. No one really noticed the weight loss, but I feel great
  21. 206 this morning. So close to onderland I can taste it. I have my one month follow up today too so I may graduate out of soft food. I can't say how glad I am I did this operation!
  22. I lifted more than I should. Carried groceries and a gallon of milk up my stairs. In my 3rd week post op. Don't think I popped a leak or anything, but it feels hurts when it didn't before
  23. Any others on here doing this vegitarian? I eat some fish, but have not eaten meat since I was 15. I am 32 now. Can not see eating meat now. I am thinking this will get easier when I can eat solids. I can do veggie burgers and other alternatives.
