  1. Hi everyone! I am having VSG November 8th- after much research, and the support of my doctor, I have determined that this is the best bariatric procedure available for me. I have Hashimoto's, which my thyroid is regulated for- but the extreme hunger, coldness, and moodiness if still very present. I actually love running, and hula hooping (which is a recent hobby). How soon were you able to do moderate cardio (like an eliptical)? The hula hoop by nature, will roll over and over my abdomen multiple times, and require a lot of abdominal work. I imagine this will be the most difficult thing to get back in to with the incisions and the soreness. What's your input? How sore were you after? How sore were your incisions?
