  1. Is it practical to look at another weight loss surgery such as the gastric sleeve. I would think you would be a good candidate for one of these. Don't take no for an answer and keep pursuing all options. Good luck to both you and your husband.
  2. I am also at day 6. Saw Dr. yesterday to check staples and he said to start mushy food. I didn't think I was suppose to have protein shakes or anything for 2 weeks. When I called to confirm my appt. they told me to do the shakes. They don't taste very good, but I was not as nauseous or lightheaded. Also have lost 8 lbs. so can't say I cheated either.
  3. Insurance companies all have their own standard. I was surprised how lenient mine was. One nutritionist vist (a complete waste of time) and a psyc. evaluation, also a waste but required. Only other requirement was 6 months of physcian managed weight loss (diet pills). I had already done that numerous times. I contacted my insurance company myself and got the requirements before I got too far into it. You may want to do the same.
  4. Good luck, my surgery is also in 4 days. I'm not on a liquid diet this week they just told me to eat light. I am so ready for the next stage!
