Diva I whould get crazy with a lot of hungry and a small bag! That's why I was still wating for something new. I'm only 4 days out of surgery and it's great for now. Hungry ZERO, liquids going in very well, no nausea. No complication here, I will return to work tomorow! I had some pain because of gas and umbilical hernia fixed in adition. I was watching for something to deal with my hungry for years, I never went for Band or RNY because hungry is not supressed by this procedures. I also doubt it's in the plication method too.

Hungry is the key. With the band you still have hungry and Idon't know about the plication (hungry), but with the sleeve you have no hungry!

I think that the most great about the sleeve is the hungry supress, with the band do you still have hungry? I'm 4 days out of the sleeve and I have no Hungry. For me hungry is what made my decision. And with RNY you will still have some hungry.

Hi all ! I'm from Brazil. Can I join you? Sorry about my English since it's not my first language. I have just been sleeved on friday (20 aug 2010). So I'm 2 days out. I had the VSG via laparospic video + unbilical hernia fixed. Here some differences I notice from what they are doing here: -No pre op liquid diet, only one day before surgery; -I was sent home in the next day; -Clear foods will go for only one week; -Costed me 10k usd all included, health isurance down here only cover open surgery. For now some pain, mostly because hernia fixed and gas. I have some nausea in the first day because the morfine they gave for pain. No more nause than. liquids are going in easly, no hungry :-). I fight againt my weight for 40 years before this, never went to Obsesity II status. I hope this works for me.
