I vote yes too. Is it easier/cheaper to stay at a hotel in Huntsville and waiting for all the violets then traveling on ward to our final destination. I am unclear on the specifics. I just need to travel on Thursday cause it takes all day to get there! I don't want it cut into my violet time.

Hey All~ I just looked online and found a flight to Bama (huntsville right) arriving Thursday night @ 5pm and leaving Monday am. I wanted to confirm the nights and time frames w/ everyone. Since it takes me all day...literally to get across country, some of us fly in Thursday...didn't someone talk about that? Fly in Thursday...out Monday...3 VIOLET DAYS! The flight is a bit over 500 now...to book or not to book???? That is the question!

I'll be in the classroom tomorrow for about 3-4 hours in the am, no air conditioning on the weekend, and it is gonna be 107 this weekend. Morning Violets~ Great...now no one wants to sleep w/ the lesbian?? I hope Haydee still wants me. I think we should all always rotate roomies. Every year we should sleep w/ someone new (hahahaha...I know how that sounds). Anyhoo, I am easy. Sooooo excited and ready for a new countdown! Another long day for me...but the silver lining is when I get home, Susanne will be here!!!! Her mom is in so much pain and is waiting for her surgery date (I told ya'll she fractured her L1, right). Susanne's toes need to be looked at and so instead of being in Phoenix, she'll be here for a few weeks. I am glad she is gonna be here. The big house is empty w/o her. Every night I grind the coffee beans for the morning coffee. It is sad to make coffee for one:frown: So that is my story. Off to put my face on and get ready! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

OMG...Ladies~ This totally sucks! I hate the trainings because I am away from ya'll during the day. I swear, yesterday I had 3 pages to catch up on...and today it was 4 pages. Laura~ I called yesterday too??? Did you get my message? I've thought about you all day. I told my friends, "One of my Violets is having a baby!" I am soooo freakin 'cited for you! The ONLY determining factor in gender is the male sperm. Sorry, that is the truth. In the "dark ages" kings and royals would shun the women if they didn't "bear them sons"...and in reality, it was all the sperm that makes it happen. I am betting you got knocked up on Vacation! Your baby will be born w/ dreads. THANK GOD YA'LL DIDN'T SWAP W/ THAT COUPLE, LOL! You said you were 3 days late...that is perfect math! That being said, you would be due around late April/early May! OMG...what if you had a girl in APRIL...I would die! Go to the store...even Wally World this weekend and look at the baby clothes (boys and girls) you'll get excited! As for the trip...I am in, ready to committ, etc...let me know! And as for the roomies, when Haydee asked to room w/ me, I spaced that Judy and I talked about it already (when we were in TX). She only needed 2 pills a month, after each treatment, and they cost $27 EACH PILL...and that was in 1997! I just read so much...forgot what I read! We had training until 4, then Jackie and I ran to the store and came home and made tacos for 7 people. I ended up having tons of beers too, it was fun! Morning Ladies~ I am pooped! Last night, my dear friend from high school called at like 6:50pm...we got off the phone at 10:30, only cause my battery was getting too low. Appearently, we had a fight in senior year sometime...lol, I don't even remember...I just thought we "drifted apart" after HS. Anywho, it was great. LOL...she just left GC, whom we met together on Memorial Weekend in 1984!!! I met MD and she met and fell for GC...MD and I broke up after a few months, and she has been w/ GC the whole time. They just divorced 2 years ago. Another busy day, I am thinking about the money. I spent a ton of money on clothes yesterday, and then found out Susanne is coming home tomorrow!!!:thumbup: Yeah, I am totally busted! I've taken off the tags (I bought 6 pair of capris and 3 shirts) and have hidden the items "among" my other clothes, we will see how long it takes to notice. We joke now that I can't get away w/ ANYTHING w/ her. Laura~ I've thought about you all morning. I am soooo excited for you. I hope you get the unfil soon. So, we get a $1000 for going this week, $500 in spring (for turning in a portfolio), catered lunches all week, and the Yard House is across the street! Morning Ladies~ Went to dinner w/ friends last night...was fun! Dean just moved back to the PS area after moving to England a year and a half ago. He is looking for a teaching job in the area. So until he finds one...he's for hire for odd jobs. So, instead of asking the neighborhood kid to rake my leaves for hundred bucks...I asked Dean. Susie~ great post...thanks for sharing that. I love how in 15 minutes she could figure you all out. My psych eval was w/ this GEORGOUS...I MEAN STUNNING KNOCK OUT woman. Gay or not, ya'll would be blown away how hot she was. She was built like a brick shit house. I was embarrassed to talk to her at first, then once I started...I couldn't shut up. She said she would approve me (one time visit..1 hour to determine if I was "strong" enough for the surgery), but she recommended I see someone, if not her, about other things in my life. I went in to her and blabbed about my time caring for my mom. I am still f'd up about all that...working through shit all the time! I agree, my violets are the best source of strength.

Well, as a result of all of the blood draining out of my face yesterday as they gave me the new schedule...they've made a few changes. :thumbup: I will be teaching 6th grade self contained. So instead of 65 students (total), I'll have 33 all day!!! I will be teaching, Lang Arts, Math, Sci and Soc. Studies! I AM SOOOOO FREAKIN HAPPY! I love "plan b"! Thanks for you wonderful words Terri...I love teaching, but I had the hardest year of my life last year...so I am a bit tainted. Then, you come and shine me up again...and I am ready to go! xoxoxoxoxo

yum terri...i am ready now. no plans this weekend...might have my nephew on Sunday...kinda got the blues. Yesterday, I found out I am teaching Math, Science and Soc. Stud. for one group at the strategic level (one level below "grade level") and then Math and Science for another group of kids at the intensive level (two levels below "grade level"). I am not teaching any lang arts, and no longer teaching second lang learners. I am very bummed about this. So I am gonna lick my wounds this weekend...and try to find a 'GOOD FREAKING ATTITUDE' as I head into Monday's week long training! Wish me luck.
