Hello! I am having surgery on March 8th!! I cant believe its less then two weeks away! My insurance company qualified me this last friday!! I have my pre op on tuesday march 2nd so i guess i will find out if i need to be on a special diet but as of right now I was not put on any special diet?! So excited for all of our Journey's together!! Anyone know statistically the sucess rate of lapband is?? My mom kinda freaked me out the other day when she was telling me that she knows like 4 people who did the lapband and it didnt work/they are heavier now then they were before.. ~Kelli

Hi SuBandy, My name is Kelli, I am just starting the process as well!! My first doctor's appointment is Monday Jan. 3rd!! I live in california and I have about 90 pounds to lose I ALSO have twins!! They are 3 years old and I also have an 11 month old!! Good luck w/ the process!! Have you had your first appointment yet? Any advice on what to expect?
