These are photos my 21-year old (skinny) sister snapped during pre-op and recovery. She even managed to get one of me being wheeled off to the OR, haha! Boy that oxycodone was pretty nice.

Thumbs up recovery. Too bad I fought the breathing tube as the nurse tried removing it post-op. I bit a giant hole in my lip and it looked SO BUSTED for several days. -
I was groaning here from the pain. Then they gave me more oxycodone and I felt a million times better. I was craving ice chips hardcore. That's my mother, (and inspiration/hero!), who had the surgery done March 11,2008 and has gone from a size 24 to a siz -
The anesthesia had yet to wear off completely. -
Asleeping quite a bit. Those ice packs were nice. They're still in my freezer, doh! -
Passed out, dreaming happily. -
Yep, that's me being pushed off to the OR. The chick near the corner is Martha. She pronounced her name "Mawtha" cos she has such an adorable southern drawl. -

The nurse thought it'd be a good idea to check my platelets. I thought this was pretty dumb, considering I'd already been given Heparin, an anti-clot drug that probably affects the count anyway. The skinny chick at the foot of my bed is Jen, Dr. Gersin's

One Year Post Gastric Bypass
I had my gastric bypass in February of 2025. In December I had 360⁰ lower body lift/tummy tuck, breast reduction/lift/augmentation. I'm still recovering from that surgery, but I'm doing well! I started at over 300 (probably 315?), and today I'm at 191. I'm still 26lbs from my goal weight, but I'm glad to be going slow and getting stronger every day!
