Snack, Stagnet and other Issues

hi everyone, i'm new here so i hope i hear from so so manny of you!!peace.gif

i had my lapband or as i see so many of you say it, i've been banded, in March. so far i have lost about 40lbs. i lost 30 in the 1st month!! wow! i was amazed because i was constantly told and read that the weight loss is slow and i was totally fine with that. i wanted that! but i guess i got spoiled to losing weight every other day or so. now i cant seem to move a bit! i have stayed at 258-255ish since my 1st adjustment which was 3 weeks ago. prior to that, i had stayed at 263 until the adjustment. i can not figure out why i cant move anymore. what i am doing or not doing? i am getting another adjustment in about 2 wks so i expect to loose another couple of pounds but then after that will i stay stuck again? i'm not understanding this. can you all offer any help or advice? i eat 3 meals a day. i have snacks which i'm thinking i should cut out now. i dont know. i love to snack. i dont have high sugar snacks but as we know too much of anything is not good! my snacks are granola....basically but also SF popsicles, SF pudding, and wheat crackers(5)

what should i expect in regards to my weight loss, being stagnantfrusty.gif and just staying focused?!?ranger.gif

please help:phanvan

If I could chime in here for a sec....on your Asian chicken salad....you put down the nutrition information for that. If I could just point out something to you about this. The label reads 18 servings....no matter if you think it is 18 or not, that is what it is. It has 180 calories a serving. That makes this whole container 3,240 calories. THAT IS A LOT OF CALORIES!!! Let alone the 9 g carbs per serving....if you are trying to watch your carbs. I think that is where people get messed up with their calorie counting. They don't look at the NUMBER OF SERVINGS and figure out the correct amount of calories!! I don't know if this is part of the problem or not, but thought I would point this out. If you eat half of the salad one day and half the other day, then you would be getting 1,620 calories a day JUST from eating this salad. Hope that helped, if not, just ignore me....I am used to that anyways...LOL...Deanna

thanks and good point but thats why i said i wouldnt eat the whole thing. my dh probably will. i had a cup of salad and i didnt dump the dressing on it. i did notice it said 18 servings:eek:.

off the topic but can we have aleve? i remember that we cant have certain pain relievers but i can not remember what we can have. THANKS!!

no you werent offensive and thank you! i appreciate the help from everyone!!! but why cant i blend my fruit up in a smoothie:biggrin1: aw man...i just like to taste it mixed in things. to be honest i probably wont get it in me if i have to eat it straight.

i do have turkey chilli. campbells makes it. thats not a problem at all. i do know its hard to find and actually only super walmart carries it, that i know of. everywhere i look, they just have beef.

i'll take a look at fit day and check it out. thanks so much!!!;)

You don't NEED to eat fruit. Veggies you need. If you are blending veggies in a smoothie you are more hard core than me!

Remember, chewy Protein first, then veggies, then carbs. For real, fruit is more carb than anything..its a wonderful, fantastic carb, and better than white flour anything, but don't drink your friut just because you feel the need to get some in everyday.
