Nintendo thinks I'm sexy!

Ok, just kidding, I've spent months thinking about the title I would put on today's message when it finally came. Do any of you have a Nintendo WII and the WII fit? Its pretty interesting and a lot of fun. It seems like a very accurate scale and has some neat features.

Every day, it weighs you and calculates your BMI and tracks your progress over months. While its measuring it has a little avatar that represents you. As soon as it calculates your data, the character balloons up and a tiny computer voice says, "Thats obese!" At least that is what it said until today. I got up and weighed myself and today is the day I've been waiting almost 3 months for. I'm no longer obese, I'm officially overweight. I had been obese, I believe, for 12 years.

This has been one big milestone I've been waiting for. I've got two more. At 225, I plan on calling my sleep doctor. Sleep apnea was the main reason I chose to have this surgery. My wife says I don't snore anymore and I breath deeper at night. I'm going to call the sleep doc and get retested and hopefully say good bye to him forever.

My last milestone will be the 200 barrier! Maybe before my 50th birthday in June.

Congrats Bill!! :hurray:

And good luck w/ your sleep test!

I, too, am hoping to become one of the NON-nose-hoses once I lose more weight!!

Hugs,

I went for the surgery to get off the CPAT about 5 years ago and it has been great. I only used it for two years but got to where my nose could not handle being so dry (almost constant nose bleeds) Day three was the worst as far a pain is concerned with that surgery, oh yea, that is what I have heard about the LAPBAND.

I really enjoy my Wii fit as well, just got it last Thursday and have already added exercises to its list.

Did your equipment include a humidifier? I mainly couldn't stay asleep with the equipment on my head.

Not to begin with but I improvised till they got me one. But I elected the surgery to get rid if the CPAT because I travel so much (120-180 days a year)

Whoooooohoooooo! ok thanks guys I got my Wii fit to weigh me with the right weight today. You all where right I just had to weigh myself on a solid surface. but now the program thinks I gained 17 lbs and it gave me a really hard talking to about gaining the weight. i think this is the first time I had a game jump on my butt for gaining weight. it shamed me....LOL..I felt like i let the system down....Now it says I have to lose 19 more lbs to get to my goal I set yesterday.

LOL - mine did the same when I had a blip in my weight. When you go to the chart of your weight and BMI, that dot on the chart will be red and your Mii will say "I dont know what happened!"

I love mine but I think I over did it this past weekend. I did about 60 min of yoga, strength, step, hula hoop and running. After the running my left side was killing me. So...tonight I'll just do the step and yoga.

well I did my workout with the Wii fit tonight and than jumped on the wii sport and hit some balls and do some boxing. After i finished I thought i would jump on my bike and ride it for awhile...only lasted 15 minutes....lol..i guess i did more on the wii than I thought. All together I was able to do 45 minutes of wii..

I finally got my Wii Fit friday!! Whoo hoo!!!

The kids played with it all weekend and LOVED it.

I get it all to myself today. I can't wait till they go to school so I can jump on!!

Hugs,
