I'm so excited I got my surgery date...July 21st!!! So I will start my liquid diet on July 7th. I'm so excited. Any suggestions??

Do you like slushies? Since its hot I crush up ice in the blender then add crystal light with a tiny bit of water and it makes italian ice or slushy depending how much water you add

What's crystal light? It's winter where I am, but I still like slushies!

oh our lucky! its humid and hot in NYC! uggh I hate it! well slushies are like those icy drinks you get from 7 eleven. do you know what italian ice is? ill make one today and send you a picture. If you have a really good blender that makes the ice like snow you can make it. you make the ice like snow, then you put in a seperate cup some sugar free koolaid or crystal lite packet and a tiny bit of water. then you poor it on the ice in a tupperware and close it and shake so all the ice is covered. it makes italian ice and its only 5 calories! i eat it all day i love it here are some pics what it loks like

I'm July 31 - pending insurance approval! It was submitted last week. Getting excited!

Really hoping for the last week of July. Waiting for a call to schedule a tentative date until I get insurance approval.

I'm July 7th and I'm on my 2 week pre op diet mines isn't all liquid just 1000 calories per day so my food had to be measured
