Hey everyone! I have recently found this site and am thrilled! I just had my lap band surgery on September 25th, and here I am! I have not had much for complications. I had my surgery on a Friday, and was back to work Monday. Things have gone flawlessly thus far. I did my liquid diet the first week, then because I had been doing so well, my surgeon upgraded me to purees. No problems yet. I am eating between 1/4 and 1/2 cup per meal and have lost about 10 lbs so far. I have heard so many horror stories about being sick all the time and such, but so far so good!

I am really excited to begin my new life and meet people on the same journey. I am a generally very positive and optimistic person, so I hope to learn a lot from all of you, and maybe offer some support too

I had my surgery the same day. It ws my birthdya too! To funny! Hope you lost lots of weight.
