Used to be my pants wore out where my upper thigh(s) met. Now they fray at the bottom because I lost so much of my backside. It's cheaper to buy new jeans than get them hemmed.

My sign was when I went to see a surgeon to evaluate another issue I had and the triage nurse asked if I was there for the bariatric pathway.

I cried for a day then called and told her she was on to something.
