Yes, my weight fluctuates quite a bit throughout the day. But I also suggest checking the batteries in your scale just to be safe.

Weigh your self once a week on the same day at the same time. You'll have better results if your not constantly stepping on the scale. Especially because your weight fluctuates every day.

Make sure you don't need new batteries... weigh in the mornings after going to the bathroom. Without clothes. Stay consistent with that pattern. I know you shouldn't weigh EVERY DAY but for some of us its hard. I often weigh myself at night and usually notice like a 1-2 lb difference from the morning weight. Also I will usually step on the scale at least twice to make sure the numbers are consistent. If you find that its different each time it may be time to get a new scale.
