I had my pre-op yesterday...eek! Met with the exercise physiologist which was really interesting, he broke down my body fat and composition and gave you an idea based on your lean body mass what your ideal goal should be, which was a lot more realistic than the stupid BMI chart. Also found out I am only going to be in the hospital one night! That surprised me, but apparently they don't perform the Leak test anymore which is awesome because contrast taste like sh*t lol

Me too!!! Ready for the 28th!!

I started my liquid diet Monday, August 29, 2016. My surgery day is September 12. The diet is really hard but I have to push through it. I just don't like the protein shakes (and I've tried many of them). I'm sticking with Premier because they seem to be the best nutritionally, plus I can ALMOST stand the taste! Good luck to everyone and we'll all meet back here with wonderful results.

I am on day 2 liquid diet. Got bit light headed yesterday but worked through it. Didn't want any veg so I drunk all my milk allowance.

Wishing everyone good and to keep strong on the liquid diet. We have started our new journey, Exciting times :D

My date is September 12th! I've only been on the pre-op diet for a couple of days, but the last two days I've had a pretty bad headache, which I've read is pretty normal. But other than that, I've been doing ok. I'm a little nervous because the weekend is coming up and I tend to struggle on the weekend when I'm dieting. But I'm going to try to stay busy and focused on my end goal. I'm so excited. It's been a long journey. 10 more days!

Hello Everyone,

I was scheduled for September 22th, but they had a cancelation and now my surgery date is October 6 2016. I may not be a Sept surgery anymore but this forum has been here for me so I will continue to post until my surgery date... :( :( :( :( :(

Well I had my surgery today at 7:30. The doctor said it went amazing and I'm telling you the pain is barely existent. I started drinking Clear liquids around 4 o'clock today and I've been walking a lot which definitely helps with the pain. The only downfall is how extremely dry and mouth is been LOL. I guess it's a small price to pay

Awwww we aren't twins now[emoji54] October will be here before you know it. [emoji4] hang in there

On post op day two. Came home from the hospital last night. Today woke up a little more sore but I also haven't taken any of my pain pills. Walking helps with pain.

The weirdest part is being hungry but not really. I guess this is the head hunger everyone talks about. I couldn't imagine eating right now but when my fiancé eats around me I'm definitely eyeing it haha
