mysterious marks

OK y'all. A couple of friends and I had our surgeries a day or two apart. We all came out with the two marks about an inch above our navel. What the heck are those???

They look like 2 little ant bites or vampire marks LOL!

I am thinking it had something to do with the laparscope, but not sure. Any ideas??

Yes, I too had those around my incisions - although I never asked what they were and probably should have right?

I am going to tell you what I think they are... I think it is from some sort of retractor tool that holds the area open?

I am sure some one here is going to set us straight and provide a great answer to my guess!
