4 days post op

Had surgery on November 14th and I'm having so much trouble because I just keep thinking of all the things I want to eat but can't or won't be able to for a while. I'm tired or broth and almost can't even stand the smell of it . Trying to get in my Protein shake but am barely able to get 1 down a day. Any tips for liquid stage?

I had surgery on the 7th of November. I did a ton of Protein shakes pre-op as meal replacements so those are going well. I've just been advanced to full liquids/puréed and that's harder I find, because every time I cook for my kids I get this head hunger. My brain tells me I should be eating but if I try to taste on their food or snack quickly, I pay for it by landing in the fetal position in PAIN. Anyone else struggling with this these head hunger games?
