Water And Eating

Hi...I'm a little over 30 days post-op and I'm struggling with not being able to drink while I eat. My mouth gets so dry while I eat. Can I drink a little sip of Water when I eat? I can't remember why aren't we suppose to drink while we eat? I'm dying, sometimes I just stop eating so I can begin my 30 minute count down so I can drink.

Any advice would be great! THANK YOU!!
