Newbie needs input

Hi,

Feeling a little nervous since this my first post ever. I was banded on June 30, 2009 and have lost only 30 pounds. I have had 2 fills for a total of 6cc and will see my doctor next week. I had so much support and guidance from my doctor pre-op but not so much now. I often visit this sight for information and answers. I joined in hopes of getting some input and support. Any comments?

I'm fortunate that the clinic I go to has support groups and shared medical appts. I love the SMAs as they have pre/post op patients of both bypass and band, the appt is overseen by a doctor and a therapist.

I would suggest looking at support groups in your area - see if you can find a group on here that lives close to you.

And of course we're always here :-)

Hoping to be banded Dec09/Jan10
