Wow, Angie, that's terrific weight loss! Congratulations!!

I had my first sip of a carbonated beverage last week. Ouch! I don't know whether it was band related or just that I haven't had soda in three months, but whatever it was the sensation was pretty unpleasant. I won't be repeating that experiment!

Welcome to the boards. Keep posting and sharing your success!

Wonderfull weightloss:D

I love my calistoga carbonated water. I have 2-3 of them a day.

I can't have diet soda cause of the aspertain reaction, I get muscle cramps and hip pain. Carbonation is not a problem with me.

Glad you found this board! You must be thrilled with your weightloss so far - what an achievement! I also started at 315 (lost 7lbs before surgery tho) and hope to do as well as you!

With regard to carbonated drinks, I am really missing diet coke - but I think it's probably easier to cut it out completely than to just has a little every now and then.... Anyway I'm way to apprehensive to try a fizzy drink now that I'm banded - hope I stay chicken - probably healthier!

keep in touch!
