Just want to wish everyone good luck tomorrow!! My thoughts and prayers are with everyone! :)

**Joanna**

I'm so ready!!! I want it to be over with!

Well, I'm definitely hungry right now!! I'm trying to cook the family dinner and the crystal lite just isn't cutting it. :)

Well I still have my headache-it must be nerves. I have been drinking alot of water, jello, and italian ice. I'm

really not that hungrey but the meatball subs my husband and daughter had for dinner looked mighty good.

I will be going in on tomorrow also. I really not sure how I feel..One hour I will be excited and ready to run to the hospital..Then the next hour I will be nervous as heck.. I just hope my pain is very minimal. Good Luck Ladies...The next time we speak we will be offically BANDSTERS!!!!

Wishing you all the best tomorrow!!! (tues. for MissK)!!:)

Thanks Kate, it's going to be a long night... 10 hours to go!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

OK, I'm juts throwing this out there---I'm in day 3 of the pre-op diet, and I'm struggling to stay on it. Up until today, I have been getting more and more ready, excited, and feeling like this band will help me finally get healthy again. Ho wever, I am now officially terrified that this is only a preview of how I will do once I get the band 8/31/09. I'm not trying to sound like a whiner-I am a strong person, but this weight thing has been a big battle for me. I'm really worried about this. I have accomplished so many of my goals in life over the yrs, but this frickin weight has been my hardest struggle. I'm SO afraid of getting this ELECTIVE surgery, and then failing yet another wt loss attempt. Does this make sense--anybody got some good advice. Thanks...

Pvgrl: Many of us felt the same way before we had our surgeries. I think what you're feeling is pretty common. As far as the pre-op diet goes, most people struggle with it or really really hate it at the very least. I know you're afraid of failing, but the success rate of the gastric band is in your favor. Most, if not all of us know what it's like to constantly struggle with our weight, and we are here to support you! I know you feel like you're not going to be able to do it because you've never had long-term success controlling your weight before, but that is exactly what the band is for! I hated the pre-op diet and wondered if I was going to be able to stick to the liquids post-op, but let me tell you that it's been a week since my surgery and I'm just now starting to feel hungry. Not only that, but I am getting full fast. (The band helps get rid of that pesky food obsession.) I hope I helped ease your fears a bit, and don't worry about talking about your worries, you've come to the right place. There are a ton of wonderful women (and men) who are going through this with you.
