Re-Introducing myself - Consult Tuesday

Hey folks!

I just wanted to re-introduce myself to the boards. I introduced myself back in August of last year stating that I was interested in the band, and was going to start a new job and then look into a seminar.

Things have changed since!

I was discouraged from getting the band when I started the job back then cause my insurance was not as good as it once was. Well I went back to my old job, because of personal reasons and I got my good insurance back.

Now not only do I have my new insurance, but I'm also under my husbands insurance policy. So I should be covered pretty well. :skep:

Recently, (2 weeks ago) I had to have surgery to get my gallbladder removed because it was inflamed. I had a laprascopic procedure, so I'm recovering pretty well!

I've decided to stick with Dr. Paul Enochs of Cary, NC because I work at Rex Hospital and he practices there and I hear many good things about him.

My consult for the surgery is this Tuesday, July 28th. I hope that things go smoothly. I know that you have to be at a certain BMI for 5 years. I'm not completely positive that I've been a BMI of 40 for 5 years, maybe 4. :) So I might have to wait another year. We'll see.

Well if you want to follow my weight loss journey -- You can subsribe to me on YouTube.

Anyone that lives in the Raleigh, NC area looking into Dr. Enochs as well??

I'd love to talk to others. :)

Ok, so I just went to the BCBSNC website (my health insurance carrier) and they said I only have to have a BMI of 40 for the past 2 YEARS - NOT 5 YEARS! Awesome!! Now I don't have to worry about that! Whew!
