I am Charlene..36 yrs old..Married..Full time Mom to 6!

I have seen my dr about getting the lapband..now I have my psych eval on the 17th of Nov..and see the dietician the 19th of Nov. Doc says if all goes well I will be on the losing side by the end of the yr!

I was wondering if anyone has Encore Insurance and if so can you tell me about how long it took to get approved and stuff like that.

Wow, a full-time mom to 6!! I'm in awe of you. I'm sure you need every ounce of energy and stamina you can get, and banding will help you get there. Please ask any questions you need to; don't be shy.

I've never heard of Encore insurance. Does your doctor have any idea whether it covers banding? If he's in a network with them it should be fairly easy for him to find out. Good luck!!!

wow~6? I know you have a handful and I thought I had trouble with 4!!! I have never heard of encore insurance before but like Alexandra said your doctor should be able to find out. Congratulations on your decision on getting banded!!!
