Reaching "restriction" ...

Hi all,

Please forgive my newbie ignorance, but I've read the term "reached restriction" in a few posts, and don't quite understand the exact meaning. Would someone be so kind as to elaborate a bit?

Getting banded in exactly 3 weeks!

Proper adjustment of the lap band is very important to weight loss and the long term success of the procedure. Reaching restriction means you have reached a right amount of fill to only be able to eat 4 oz at a time. It is different with each person and requires a different amount of fill for each person. It is also referred to as reaching your sweet spot. When reaching your sweet spot typically your weight loss speeds up! Good luck
