I am very interested in getting the lap band done and have already spoken with my PCM about it.. I am getting excited but dont want to get my hopes up in case i dont get approved.. I have Tricare Prime West.. if you know anything extra I can do to get the edge up any and all advice is more than welcome.

Hi Breanna: I would say get a copy of your insurance coverage / guidelines. Make sure that you meet these guidelines then go to a seminar. After the seminar make a consultation visit with the surgeon. Usually at that point the insurance coordinator will advise you on your next steps.
